Post-MBA, I approached Lucille when I needed to write an acceptance speech for my nomination for the prestigious 2018 Association of MBAs (AMBA) ‘Student of the Year’ award. Lucille helped me by conceptualizing the structure and framework for the speech, as well as suggesting model speeches, which had been well received, for my emulation. Following the session with Lucille, there was a marked improvement in the quality of communications materials developed by the team.
Our team was experiencing some challenges with the quality of communications materials (letters, emails, and sundry documents) that was being produced. A lot of time was spent reviewing these, and this was impacting on our effectiveness and efficiency.
We then had a session with Lucille to review our business writing. She took us through some practical steps for developing different types of official communication – emails, letters, etc. Lucille also introduced us to useful tools we could use to review communications we developed.
