But you will first need to strip away the \u2018hard sells\u2019 such as the glossy magazines, shiny billboards, fun radio jingles, and creative television advertisements before you get to that eureka moment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">And in that moment the constant becomes clear:<br><br><em>Successful businesses are good storytellers.<\/em>\u00a0<br><br>They tell stories in different ways using different types of content. Content could be white papers, podcasts, infographics, blog articles, images, graphics, videos and tutorials.\u00a0<br><br>Content could also be emotive, educative, inspiring, humorous or entertaining.<br><br>When done the right way, content persuades, or even\u00a0<em>compels<\/em> action. The action could be buying a product, signing up for a service, giving favourable reviews\/recommendations, sharing that great content to your social media networks, or saving the information for future use. For inspiration, check out the&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.socialmediatoday.com\/content\/10-best-big-company-blogs-world-0\" target=\"_blank\">ten best company blogs in the world<\/a>.<br><br>Then go develop a content plan whereby you use specific content that not only addresses the concerns of your followers but also provokes emotions, thereby encouraging them to take action.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\"><em>Remember that at the heart of a strong message is a good story.<\/em><br><strong><em><br><\/em><\/strong>Thus, strengthen your storytelling by mixing up different types of content.
