The Rethinking Business Communications Blog clocks eight today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over the past seven years, it has consistently provided insights and value in business communications to guide you to excel in your business and career. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new reality – the scourge of the COVID-19\npandemic, has caused entire countries to shut down and economic activities to\ngrind to a halt. Worrisome tales of human suffering in this health crisis\nabound. Moreover, the gripping panic and widespread misinformation threaten our\npeace, relationships, and livelihoods. Yet, these forces should not, and must\nnot be permitted to overcome the human spirit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So while we adapt to the new norm of social\ndistancing and take other precautions to protect ourselves and loved ones, to curb\nthe contagion and eventually eliminate the disease, we need effective communication\nmore than ever. We need to learn how to communicate interpersonally and virtually\nto distribute facts, provide hope, and collaborate efficiently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That’s why I remain committed to sharing insights and exploring the fascinating world of communication to help professionals and business leaders to inspire, inform, and bond with others. Great communication, after all,  changes minds, moves hearts, and triggers action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now the blog continues to win awards. In addition to its ongoing rank as one of the ‘Top  30 Communication Blogs’<\/a> by Feedspot since 2017, this year, Feedspot ranked it in a new category – as <\/strong>one ‘Top 75 Lagos Influencers, Blogs, Podcasts & YouTubers in 2020<\/a>‘. Moreover, in 2019, Expertido<\/a> named it one of the ‘Best Communication Blogs’. While validation from such authorities is heartwarming, what I treasure most is feedback from readers that the blog has helped them and provided great value. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Therefore, in keeping with tradition, I’m celebrating the eighth year of this blog by sharing quotes from articles published in the period. I hope these posts inspire you to become a more effective communicator, thereby helping you boost your business and professional relationships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
